This full-time position is integral to maintaining the smooth operation of the bar by assisting bartenders in daily opening, closing, and service tasks. The Barback ensures the highest standards of cleanliness and organization, stocking supplies, polishing glassware, and supporting service areas consistently. Job Requirements
- Minimum age to serve alcohol
- 2+ years of high-volume restaurant/bar experience
- Knowledge of menu items including mixing and serving beverages, standard beverage recipes, preparation methods, glassware, garnishes, products, menu items, supplies and equipment
- Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to effectively communicate in English in both written and verbal forms
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team situation
- Ability to multitask and work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong dedication towards learning and motivation to progress in a fine dining environment
- Impeccable grooming, good hygiene, good posture, and required uniform and tools
- Responsiveness to constructive feedback from management
Job Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in high-volume restaurant or bar environments
- Knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Strong understanding of health, safety and sanitation regulations
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Proven customer service skills and ability to engage professionally with guests and team members
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization under pressure
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Demonstrated motivation for career development in hospitality

Job Duties
- Understand and perform job duties to the expectations of TableOne Hospitality's service, food, beverage, and wine manuals
- Assist the bartender with preparation of drinks, mixes and garnishes
- Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of the bar area
- Maintain sufficient stock of all items and products in designated work areas
- Ensure proper set up, labeling, stocking and delivery of alcohol, non-alcoholic beverages, supplies, glasses, paper products, garnishes, and ice
- Clean equipment, tools, supplies, polish glassware and ensure equipment is in working order
- Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment
- Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority
- otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
- Execute and facilitate service in cooperation with other Barbacks, Bartenders, and Managers
- Welcome all guests and ensure guests receive responsive, professional, and gracious service at all times
- Answer any questions about the menu, specific food items, the wine list or any other inquiries the guest may have
- Understand any changes in the menu, dietary restrictions, food allergies, etc.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment at all times in the bar (front bar, back bar, well, floor)
- Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety, and when serving alcohol
- Perform other job-related duties as requested
