Barback

The Bar Buena Barback plays a pivotal behind-the-scenes role in maintaining the smooth operation of the bar and ensuring a seamless guest experience. This position demands a driven and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment. The barback supports bartenders by ensuring that all stations remain fully stocked, clean, and organized throughout each shift. Their diligent efforts ensure service runs continuously without disruption, allowing bartenders to focus on delivering high-quality cocktails and personalized attention to patrons.

This role involves a variety of responsibilities, such as restocking essential bar items like condiments, straws, rags, and beverage napkins, maintaining ice bins, managing beer and keg stocks, and washing and restocking glassware. The barback also plays an important part in maintaining cleanliness and order inside and outside of the bar area, keeping bar stools and surrounding areas spotless, and assisting with garnishes and the preparation of signature drink components like margarita mix.

Candidates for the Bar Buena Barback position should exhibit excellent communication skills, physical stamina to lift heavy items, and a helpful, friendly attitude. This job requires adherence to sanitary and safety practices, flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and possession of a TABC certification.
