The Barback is a key team member responsible for supporting bartenders and maintaining smooth bar operations within this bustling casino environment. Primary responsibilities include stocking essential bar supplies such as beer, wine, liquor, mixers, ice, and dry goods to guarantee uninterrupted service, as well as maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the bar area to uphold the casino's high standards of presentation. The Barback also provides relief to bartenders as needed, helping to maintain efficient workflow during peak hours. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • must have one year of food and beverage experience
  • must have the ability to work well with guests and co-workers
  • must have good communication skills
  • must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours
  • must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • must have the mobility to climb stairs on a routine basis
  • must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment
  • must be able to work all scheduled shifts including day swing graveyard and holidays
  • all applicants must obtain a Class III A license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission
  • pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions
  • use of marijuana will not disqualify unless driving company vehicle
