Job Description
Prime Hospitality Group (PHG) is a distinguished collection of upscale brands that include restaurants, bars, and hotels, founded and led by the dynamic husband-and-wife entrepreneurs Ryan and Kristy Rans. As a family-owned business, PHG has built its reputation on delivering best-in-class hospitality while fostering an inspiring and collaborative work culture. With decades of commitment to excellence, PHG stands as a leader in the hospitality industry by championing values such as passion for service, a hunger to grow, unwavering commitment, and a desire to win. The company is recognized not only for impeccable service standards but also for its forward-thinking approach, incorporating the latest technology and sustainability practices in its operations.
One of PHG's flagship brands, Ruth's Chris Steak House, has been a beloved institution for over 50 years and represents the cornerstone of the company’s hospitality mission. Prime Hospitality Group seeks to deliver the best steakhouse experience, whether hosting a romantic dinner for two or a grand celebration for a dozen guests. The company is currently offering an exciting career opportunity for the position of Barback under the supervision of the Bar Manager.
The Barback role is essential to supporting bar operations and ensuring seamless service during busy periods. This position requires anticipating the needs of bartenders by restocking beverages, glasses, and necessary supplies, preparing garnishes, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area. A successful Barback will coordinate with management, kitchen staff, and security personnel to provide efficient, polite service that elevates the guest experience. This includes adhering strictly to all state and local liquor laws, upholding company policies, and practicing exceptional teamwork to maintain the high standards synonymous with the PHG brand.
Physical stamina and attentiveness are critical in this role, as the Barback must frequently handle heavy items, maintain well-paced mobility, and stand for extended periods. Communication skills are important for listening and responding effectively to supervisors, colleagues, and guests alike. PHG values thorough training and expects candidates to complete the restaurant’s training programs to hit the ground running.
Prime Hospitality Group champions diversity and inclusion and offers equal employment opportunities to all qualified applicants. The company fosters a welcoming environment that respects all individuals regardless of race, gender, religion, or any other protected characteristic under the law. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals with prior hospitality or restaurant experience who are eager to develop their skills within a supportive and growth-oriented organization. Join Prime Hospitality Group and be part of a family committed to service excellence, innovation, and professional advancement.
