Within the Live Nation Concerts division, where the heartbeat of live music and touring lies, this position invites candidates passionate about the live music experience to join a vibrant, fast-paced environment. The Concerts Division spans owned and operated amphitheaters, global touring teams, venue operations, marketing, and sales departments, all fostering a culture of excitement and engagement. This role is essential for ensuring that live events deliver exceptional guest experiences, supporting the successful execution of shows from start to finish.
The position primarily involves working at bar and event locations ensuring operational readiness and compliance with safety and service standards. Duties include staying informed of current menu items and descriptions, adhering to special event guidelines, performing crucial side duties such as stocking and cleaning, and ensuring responsible alcohol service in alignment with local laws. Special emphasis is placed on cleanliness, safety, and organization of bar areas and equipment, including proper segregation and disposal of recyclable materials according to local codes. Employees are expected to maintain high sanitation standards while working under the dynamic conditions typical of live event venues, which are often loud, intense, and physically demanding.
Candidates must possess or promptly acquire Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification, and demonstrate flexibility with scheduling, interpersonal communication skills, and a respectful attitude towards diverse cultures, music, and art forms. Experience in environments involving direct customer interaction and live music settings is preferred. The role requires the ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds. Job Duties
- Stay informed of current menu items and descriptions
- Follow Special Events guidelines to ensure event success
- Handle side duties including stocking ice bins, liquor, beer, wine, and coolers, including lifting/moving up to 25 lbs
- Clean and assist with maintaining bar equipment
- Perform opening/running/closing side duties according to policy
- Put all trash and recyclable products in proper receptacles
- Separate glass, cardboard, and plastics per local codes
- Operate trash compactor per procedures policy
- Ensure responsible alcohol service per local ordinance and alcohol policies
- Ensure that trash containers are clean, free of odor and lined
- Maintain safety and sanitation standards
- Par all ice bins to the fullest levels at all times
- Par all bars per venue specifications
- Wash and clean all bar glassware using proper cleaning supplies and techniques
- Required to occasionally work Special Events that are scheduled throughout the venue
