We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Barback to join our team. Reporting directly to the General Manager or Department Manager, the Barback plays a crucial behind-the-scenes role in ensuring that the bar operates smoothly and efficiently. While previous restaurant experience is preferred, it is not required; what matters most is a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and alignment with Bar Louie’s core values.
The Barback is responsible for supporting bartenders by maintaining a well-stocked and organized bar area. This includes replenishing ice bins and glassware, monitoring liquor and wine stock levels, changing kegs, and ensuring the entire bar area remains clean and tidy. Attention to safety and sanitation standards is essential, as is adherence to all liquor service laws to maintain a safe and compliant environment.
In this role, the ideal candidate must be alert to team member and guest needs, possess good communication skills including a strong command of the English language, and be physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds. Team members will punch in on time, follow management guidance, work efficiently with a friendly demeanor, and uphold Bar Louie's high standards of professionalism and safety.
