Job Description

Our establishment is a vibrant and dynamic bar known for its unique beverage program and commitment to high standards of service and cleanliness. We pride ourselves on creating an inviting atmosphere where both staff and patrons can enjoy a world-class drink experience. Our team is built on discipline, pride, and a shared commitment to excellence, ensuring every aspect of the bar—from the selection of beverages to the presentation and cleanliness—is meticulously maintained. As a key player within our team, you will be essential to maintaining the bar area, ensuring that hygiene and operational standards are upheld to the highest level. This role not only supports the bar staff but also contributes directly to the smooth and efficient running of our beverage operations.

The Bar Back position is a critical part of our team, charged with maintaining cleanliness and efficiency throughout the bar area. As the backbone behind the bar, you will ensure the bar is consistently well-stocked, assist with the opening and closing procedures, restock supplies, manage equipment maintenance, and help maintain an organized and sanitary environment. This role requires a strong attention to uniform standards, adhering to strict guidelines for personal appearance and dress, reflecting the professionalism and discipline the establishment prides itself on.

In addition to physical tasks, you will collaborate closely with bartenders and other team members to ensure seamless service for our guests. The Bar Back is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods, lifting weights up to 30 pounds, and working with cleaning agents and other materials in varying conditions, including wet areas and exposure to fumes. Safety and sanitation are paramount, as you will be required to strictly follow all health regulations and procedures related to alcohol service and food safety certifications.

This position demands reliable, motivated individuals who are capable of following instructions accurately and performing standardized tasks efficiently. Prior experience as a Bar Back is preferred but not mandatory, as complete training and orientation—including food and alcohol service certifications—will be provided. Effective communication skills in English are necessary to understand and comply with sanitation protocols and coordinate effectively with team members.

Working in our bar environment means adhering to our specific uniform code, which includes wearing a clean black hat facing forward, maintaining a clean and well-groomed appearance, and ensuring nails are trimmed with no visible jewelry or earbuds. We maintain an environment focused on safety, professionalism, and cleanliness, fostering a positive and respectful workplace culture.

If you are passionate about hospitality, ready to work in a fast-paced environment, and committed to supporting a high-functioning bar team, this opportunity to join our establishment as a Bar Back offers rewarding challenges and the chance to be part of a dedicated team that values pride, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
