Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum one year of experience in barback, bartending, hosting, or relevant hospitality roles
- certification to serve alcohol as required by local or state laws
- ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally and frequently stand or walk during shifts
- must be at least 18 years old
- this position is safety-sensitive and may be subject to additional safety requirements
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of barback, bartending, hosting, or relevant hospitality experience preferred
- certification to serve alcohol as required by state or local laws
- strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- ability to multitask, prioritize, and work well under pressure
- pleasant, polite, professional, and team-oriented demeanor
- ability to work effectively with a variety of personalities while maintaining tact and diplomacy
- must be at least 18 years old
Job Duties
- Greet and seat guests, manage waiting lists, and provide menus
- answer questions, take reservations, and assign tables with balanced server rotation in mind
- engage with guests to ensure satisfaction and respond to complaints professionally
- maintain full bar and service area stock, including beer, wine, spirits, mixers, garnishes, and glassware
- refill ice wells, change beer kegs, and replenish supplies such as napkins, stir sticks, and coasters
- assist with juicing, cutting garnishes, running food, clearing tables, and cleaning glassware and utensils
- keep bar, counters, and surrounding areas clean and organized, mop spills, unclog sinks, and move tables as needed
