Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 1-2 years supervisory experience in a food and beverage setting
- valid food handling certification
- valid alcohol service permit if required by state or federal law
- excellent communication skills
- strong interpersonal and leadership abilities
- ability to work flexible event-driven schedules
- reliable attendance and punctuality
- basic math proficiency needed for transaction processing and inventory tasks
Job Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years experience working in a supervisory capacity in a food and beverage environment
- ability to supervise the work of others
- ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, management, and guests
- ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- possess a valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations
- ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
- ability to calculate basic math functions related to POS transactions and inventory
Job Duties
- Ensure proper setup of all bar locations prior to doors
- provide a high level of oversight and operational expertise
- train new and current employees on property procedures and best practices
- cover and back up any open position to ensure full operational standards
- ensure a safe work environment free from harassment or discrimination
- provide ongoing assistance, training, and mentoring to event staff
- build working knowledge of all existing bar locations including layout and equipment
- supervise the service of beverages to guests including ID verification
- compute cost of sale and handle transactions accurately
- maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
- assure equipment is operable and clean before events
- recognize and cut off visibly intoxicated guests
- enforce all company policies and procedures
- assist management with training, inventory, and special events
- perform all other duties assigned by managers and supervisors
