Oak View Group (OVG) is the global leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services. Founded in 2015, OVG has rapidly established itself as a pioneer in the live entertainment industry with a robust platform that spans venue development, management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. The company’s footprint extends across four continents and encompasses some of the world's most iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions. Known for its innovative approach and commitment to operational excellence, OVG manages a portfolio of seven world-class owned venues and offers end-to-end services that empower venues and events to deliver unforgettable experiences to guests.
With a focus on creating superior live entertainment environments, OVG combines strategic venue development with hands-on operational expertise. This comprehensive approach ensures that each facility is designed to maximize fan engagement, optimize hospitality services, and generate sustainable business growth. Their leadership team is composed of industry veterans who bring a wealth of knowledge in sports, music, hospitality, and event management, allowing OVG to set benchmarks for quality and innovation globally.
The Bar Supervisor role within Oak View Group is an essential leadership position responsible for overseeing alcohol service operations across various bar locations within the company’s arenas, including portable units and premium bar areas. This role is dynamic and requires a personable individual who thrives in fast-paced, ever-changing environments, particularly those driven by live events. The Bar Supervisor supports the Concessions Bar and Premium Management teams, collaborating on important projects such as staff training, inventory control, and special event coordination. This position demands excellent attendance and flexibility to work scheduled events as business needs arise.
Pay for this part-time Bar Supervisor position ranges from $14.00 to $16.00 per hour. Part-time employees benefit from access to a 401(k) savings plan with company matching, reflecting OVG’s commitment to providing valuable benefits regardless of employment status. The role remains open until July 31, 2026, providing ample opportunity for qualified candidates to join an innovative company at the forefront of live entertainment.
As a Bar Supervisor, the successful candidate will take charge of ensuring all bar locations are properly set up prior to events. Responsibilities include verifying opening inventory, assigning bartender duties, maintaining sanitation standards, ensuring operational readiness of bars, and ensuring appropriate cash handling procedures are followed. The supervisor provides operational expertise to ensure smooth and profitable event execution, delivers ongoing training and mentoring to new and existing staff, and is prepared to fill in for any role to maintain service efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Health and safety play a critical role in this position, with responsibilities to manage a safe work environment free from harassment or discrimination, quickly addressing any safety hazards or incidents and reporting them to management. The Bar Supervisor is also entrusted with enforcing company policies, managing guest alcohol service responsibly, verifying guest age via ID checks, and recognizing and cutting off visibly intoxicated guests to maintain a safe atmosphere.
This role requires a deep understanding of the physical layout of bar locations, equipment, and relevant evacuation procedures, ensuring readiness for all scenarios. The position also requires meticulous cash handling skills, the ability to calculate transactions accurately, and a customer-focused approach that enhances the overall guest experience. Assisting management with training, inventory, and special events projects adds a strategic aspect to this hands-on leadership position.
Oak View Group is a company that values diversity and inclusivity, recognizing that a varied workforce fosters innovation and excellence. OVG is committed to creating environments that reflect and celebrate the diverse communities they serve. As an equal opportunity employer, OVG prohibits discrimination on all legally protected bases, reinforcing their dedication to fairness and workplace equity. Joining OVG means becoming part of a vibrant team devoted to positively disrupting the live entertainment industry through collaboration, respect, and outstanding service.
