Delaware North's Climate Collective emphasizes locally sourced, sustainable menus contributing to an environmentally conscious food and beverage culture within the venue.
Delaware North Sportservice is currently seeking part-time Bar Supervisors to join their hospitality team at Climate Pledge Arena. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about the food and beverage industry who are eager to step into a supervisory position that balances hands-on customer service with staff management and operational oversight. As a Bar Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting bar operations, ensuring that guests receive outstanding service, maintaining high productivity among bar staff, and upholding strict health and safety protocols. In addition to overseeing daily operations, you will monitor inventory levels and budget compliance to contribute to financial efficiency while ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for both guests and employees.
The Bar Supervisor position offers a competitive hourly wage of $26.00, reflecting the importance of this role in maintaining high standards within a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The work schedule includes evenings, weekends, holidays, and weekdays, providing flexible opportunities for part-time employment. This position demands leadership skills, a solid understanding of bartending techniques, and the ability to manage a team effectively under busy conditions.
This role requires a candidate who is at least 21 years old, with a minimum of one year experience both in bartending and in a supervisory capacity. Strong communication skills, proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, and an aptitude for accurate cash handling and inventory management are essential. Physical endurance is also important due to the nature of the duties, including frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds within a lively bar environment.
Delaware North values the personal and professional growth of their team members. They provide extensive training and development opportunities, employee discounts, and flexible scheduling to support work-life balance. Eligible employees may also benefit from health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation and holidays, parental bonding leave, employee assistance programs, and tuition or professional certification reimbursement. Joining Delaware North means becoming part of a global legacy of hospitality excellence, rooted in over 100 years of family-owned business tradition and a worldwide network that supports diverse career paths in sports, entertainment, gaming, dining, and more.
By working at Delaware North Sportservice at Climate Pledge Arena, team members contribute to an extraordinary guest experience in a sustainable and innovative environment. The company is committed to equal opportunity employment and fosters a culture of inclusion, encouraging all qualified candidates to apply regardless of race, gender, age, or other legally protected characteristics.
