The role of Bar Supervisor within the Pueblo of Santa Ana Casino is a pivotal position responsible for supervising the bar and lounge operations to ensure excellent guest service while effectively managing costs. This full-time position emphasizes training, scheduling, hiring, quality control, ordering, inventory management, and maintaining proper staffing levels. Job Requirements

  • Preference is given to qualified Santa Ana Tribal members
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • New Mexico liquor server’s license required
  • Food Handlers card within 90 days of hire
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of job-related experience
  • Excellent guest service skills
  • Good interpersonal, verbal and communication skills
  • Professional appearance
  • Comply with the approved company dress code
  • Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Bi-lingual and multi-cultural experience preferred
  • Smartphone capable of running company applications required
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Pueblo of Santa Ana Gaming and Regulatory Commission non-gaming license

Job Duties

  • Train all new bar staff to ensure consistency and proper training
  • Ensure all food and beverage products meet established specifications and standards
  • Provide proper levels of service based on forecasted needs
  • Comply with and enforce Casino Control Act and Commission regulations and internal controls
  • Communicate variances from standards to the Food and Beverage Manager
  • Maintain a neat, clean, organized, safe and comfortable work environment
  • Schedule breaks without interrupting guest service
  • Ensure adequate staff on the casino floor to serve guests timely
  • Maintain adequate product stock in bars and warehouse
  • Prepare verbal or written documentation
  • Assign bartenders, servers, barbacks, and beverage servers to work areas and monitor effectiveness
  • Provide prompt, courteous, and friendly service to build relationships with guests
  • Complete all financial reports and accurately log staff time and attendance
  • Perform other duties as assigned
