Job Requirements

  • Must have or be able to obtain a TABC (Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission) certification
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays according to the venue's event schedule
  • strong communication skills
  • cash-handling accuracy
  • prior bartending or high-volume service experience preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve beer, wine, and cocktails efficiently while adhering to responsible alcohol service guidelines
  • provide friendly and engaging service, answering guest questions and making drink recommendations
  • accurately process payments, issue change, and maintain proper cash handling procedures
  • ensure bar stations are fully stocked, organized, and cleaned before, during, and after events
  • follow all TABC regulations, venue policies, and health/safety guidelines regarding alcohol service
  • work closely with fellow bartenders, barbacks, and management to maintain smooth operations, even in high-volume situations
