Job Requirements
- Minimum age 18 years
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights weekends and holidays
- Must be physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting moderately heavy items
- Certification in ABC or TIPS preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Prior bartending or high-volume bar experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail in drink preparation and cleanliness
- Capability to handle cash and POS transactions accurately
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience as a bartender or in a high-volume bar environment preferred
- Proficiency in mixing a wide range of cocktails and beverages
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team-oriented setting
- Strong attention to detail particularly in drink preparation and presentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests
- Capability to handle physical demands of the job including standing for extended periods and lifting
- Must be able and willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays
- Minimum age 18 years
- Current ABC TIPS certification or ability to obtain upon hire preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently following Outback Steakhouse recipes and standards
- Maintain a clean organized and well-stocked bar area including glassware garnishes and liquor inventory
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner taking drink orders and making recommendations
- Process transactions accurately using the POS system and handle cash and credit card payments
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption to ensure responsible service and adherence to ABC regulations
- Adhere strictly to all operational safety and sanitation standards company policies and federal state local regulations especially those related to alcohol service
- Assist with inventory management including receiving deliveries and rotating stock to minimize waste
- Proactively identify and address any guest concerns or issues related to bar service
- Collaborate with servers and other team members to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations
