Job Requirements

  • Minimum age 18 years
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including nights weekends and holidays
  • Must be physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting moderately heavy items
  • Certification in ABC or TIPS preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
  • Prior bartending or high-volume bar experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail in drink preparation and cleanliness
  • Capability to handle cash and POS transactions accurately

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a bartender or in a high-volume bar environment preferred
  • Proficiency in mixing a wide range of cocktails and beverages
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team-oriented setting
  • Strong attention to detail particularly in drink preparation and presentation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests
  • Capability to handle physical demands of the job including standing for extended periods and lifting
  • Must be able and willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays
  • Minimum age 18 years
  • Current ABC TIPS certification or ability to obtain upon hire preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently following Outback Steakhouse recipes and standards
  • Maintain a clean organized and well-stocked bar area including glassware garnishes and liquor inventory
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner taking drink orders and making recommendations
  • Process transactions accurately using the POS system and handle cash and credit card payments
  • Monitor guest alcohol consumption to ensure responsible service and adherence to ABC regulations
  • Adhere strictly to all operational safety and sanitation standards company policies and federal state local regulations especially those related to alcohol service
  • Assist with inventory management including receiving deliveries and rotating stock to minimize waste
  • Proactively identify and address any guest concerns or issues related to bar service
  • Collaborate with servers and other team members to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations
