Job Requirements

  • Minimum age 18 years
  • Must be able and willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to handle physical demands of the job including standing for extended periods and lifting
  • Proficiency in mixing a wide range of cocktails and beverages
  • Current ABC/TIPS certification or ability to obtain upon hire preferred
  • Prior experience as a bartender or in a high-volume bar environment preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail in drink preparation and presentation

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently, following Outback Steakhouse recipes and standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, including glassware, garnishes, and liquor inventory
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking drink orders and making recommendations
  • Process transactions accurately using the POS system and handle cash and credit card payments
  • Monitor guest alcohol consumption to ensure responsible service and adherence to ABC regulations
  • Adhere strictly to all operational, safety, and sanitation standards, company policies, and federal/state/local regulations, especially those related to alcohol service
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and rotating stock to minimize waste
  • Proactively identify and address any guest concerns or issues related to bar service
  • Collaborate with servers and other team members to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations
