Job Description

Four Seasons is a globally recognized luxury hospitality company known for its commitment to excellence and exceptional guest experiences. Powered by an incredible team of passionate individuals, Four Seasons is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of luxury service and cultivating a company culture that values respect, genuine heart, and continuous improvement. With properties spanning the globe, Four Seasons creates lasting impressions through personalized service that resonates deeply with guests, residents, and partners alike. The company’s philosophy centers on treating every individual—whether an employee or a guest—with the kindness and respect they deserve, fostering a warm and welcoming environment in every location. This approach has earned Four Seasons a reputation for being one of the top brands in the luxury hospitality industry.

Located in Austin, Texas, the Four Seasons Hotel Austin captures the unique spirit of the city with its vibrant, lakeside setting on the banks of Lady Bird Lake. This iconic hotel serves as a premier destination for guests seeking a secluded yet centrally located retreat that provides easy access to Austin’s renowned cultural and entertainment offerings. With 286 beautifully appointed guest rooms and suites, two acclaimed restaurants (Ciclo and Live Oak), a luxury spa, and expansive event space totaling over 17,000 square feet, the hotel stands as one of Austin’s longest-standing luxury hotels. Guests are drawn not only by the hotel’s legendary service and comfort but also by its exciting seasonal events and dynamic food and beverage offerings.

The Four Seasons Hotel Austin is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bar Server to join its dynamic Food and Beverage Team. This role is integral in delivering an exceptional dining and beverage experience at the hotel’s Live Oak bar, known for its inviting ambiance and innovative menu selections. The Bar Server position goes beyond traditional serving duties; it involves anticipating and meeting guest needs with personalized attention, expert knowledge of menu items, and a commitment to excellence at all times. Because the hotel operates 24/7 throughout the year, flexibility is essential, with work shifts spanning mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Successful candidates are expected to bring passion and dedication to their role, ensuring guests receive impeccable service that matches Four Seasons’ high standards. The role requires familiarity with MICROS (a point-of-sale system) and necessitates TABC and Food Handlers certifications, ensuring all beverage and food service conforms to the highest regulatory standards. Four Seasons Austin fosters a supportive work environment where collaboration and respect among team members are paramount, helping to create a seamless and unforgettable guest experience.

Employment with Four Seasons offers a rich and rewarding career path with access to competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, reflecting the company’s commitment to employee well-being and professional growth. Benefits include holiday, vacation, and sick pay; complimentary employee meals; medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401k with company matching; and other perks that contribute to an outstanding workplace culture. This position represents a fantastic opportunity for food and beverage professionals seeking to advance their careers with a prestigious and globally respected brand dedicated to luxury hospitality and outstanding service.
