Job Description

Our company is a vibrant and customer-focused restaurant dedicated to providing exceptional dining experiences through outstanding food and beverage service. As a prominent player in the hospitality industry, we take pride in operating multiple restaurant locations known for their quality offerings, friendly atmosphere, and commitment to guest satisfaction. We value team collaboration, excellence in service, and strive to foster an inclusive environment where every staff member can grow and succeed.

We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal to our restaurant's overall success as it involves the comprehensive management of bar and beverage operations. As a Bartender, you will play an integral part in enhancing guest experiences by delivering service excellence, crafting beverages with quality and consistency, and maintaining an inviting atmosphere at the bar. Reporting directly to the Manager and Manager on Duty, this position does not include supervisory responsibilities but offers significant opportunities to engage with guests and contribute to the restaurant's revenue growth.

To thrive in this position, the ideal candidate must have a minimum of one year of bartending experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting, or alternatively one year of restaurant experience with an eagerness to transition into bartending. Certification for Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) is mandatory, alongside food safety or food handler certification to uphold our high standards of hygiene and compliance with health regulations. Knowledge of Point of Sale systems, OSHA and EEOC regulations, and food safety procedures are highly valued.

The Bartender role demands strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods, and superb communication skills to interact with guests, staff, and management professionally. You will be responsible for financial reporting such as end-of-shift checkouts, supporting kitchen and service staff, assisting with special events, and ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the restaurant environment. Physical demands include standing and walking for extended periods, working in environments that may be hot or slippery, and safely handling weights of up to 50 pounds.

We offer a competitive hourly wage complemented by tips, sick leave based on local compliance mandates, commuter benefits, and discounted meals at all company-owned restaurant locations. This position often includes shifts on weekends, holidays, and evenings, reflecting the nature of the hospitality industry. We are committed to creating a supportive workplace where our team members feel motivated and valued.

If you are passionate about hospitality, have a dedication to providing excellent customer service, and enjoy working in fast-paced, collaborative environments, we invite you to apply for the Bartender position and join our team of hospitality professionals. Be part of a company that values diversity, community engagement, and a respectful work culture as we work together to achieve outstanding guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
