Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
previous experience in bar server or bartender role preferred
ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
ability to work flexible full-time or part-time hours
ability to handle fast-paced work environment
basic math skills for cash handling
willingness to uphold company brand standards and service quality

Job Qualifications

outgoing personality with strong communication skills
ability to work effectively in a high-volume restaurant/bar environment
knowledge of craft beverages and bartending techniques
ability to follow brand standards and steps of service
experience using POS systems
ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
strong teamwork skills

Job Duties

work as a team behind the bar to create memorable guest experiences
tend to guests needs for drinks and/or food
uphold the integrity of Main Event - Columbia with high knowledge of brand standards, technique, and expectations in craft beverage service
follow steps of service to meet brand standards
use POS system for entering orders and processing payments
clean and sanitize the bar top and guest service areas regularly
wash all barware dishes
manage cash responsibly
