Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to stand for extended periods
- comfortable interacting with guests
- able to work in a fast-paced environment
- legally allowed to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- excellent communication skills
- passion for craft beverage service
- ability to work in a high-volume restaurant/bar environment
- teamwork skills
- knowledge of brand standards and service techniques preferred
- experience with POS systems
- prior bartending or bar server experience preferred
Job Duties
- work as a team behind the bar to create memorable guest experiences
- tend to guests needs for drinks and/or food
- uphold the integrity of Main Event - Lubbock with high knowledge on brand standards, technique, and expectations in craft beverage service
- follow steps of service to meet brand standards
- use POS system for entering orders and processing payments
- clean and sanitize the bar top and guest service areas regularly
- wash all barware dishes
- manage cash properly
