Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must maintain state Food Handler’s Permit
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Interact with customers in a professional manner
  • Greeting customers with finesse and charm
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions and read, retain and comprehend information
  • Ability to use basic math skills
  • Self-motivated with drive to increase knowledge of Albertsons products
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must be organized, detail oriented, accurate and have good time management skills
  • Ability to multitask while working under stress and time constraints
  • Reports to work in proper uniform per company policy
  • Server experience preferred
  • Work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Comfort with noisy, high-volume atmosphere
  • Capable of working well under pressure

Job Duties

  • Create a culture of food exploration, innovation and education for guests and employees
  • Deliver a consistently high-level customer service to each customer and maintain a safe environment by identifying any issues
  • Takes customer orders and relays them to the kitchen staff
  • Facilitate the filling of drink orders between customers and the bar
  • Suggest additional menu items, such as desserts and drinks, when appropriate
  • Keep bar area clean in accordance with the company’s guidelines as well as the requirements of the local health department
  • Develop an efficient work pace that keeps the customers at the bar satisfied at all times
  • Uphold set standard and enforce food and drink preparations and handling ensuring compliance with company food safety policy
