Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in hotel or related field preferred
- Alcohol Awareness certification as per state regulations
- Food Handlers certification as per state regulations
- Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly
- Capability to evaluate and select alternatives quickly and accurately
- Ability to work effectively under stressful, high pressure conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent or experience in hotel or related field preferred
- Possession of Alcohol Awareness certification compliant with state regulations
- Possession of Food Handlers certification compliant with state regulations
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Ability to work well in stressful and high pressure situations
Job Duties
- Comply with Avion Hospitality standards and regulations
- Comply with certification requirements including Alcohol Awareness and Food Handlers
- Be familiar with restaurant and lounge organization and job functions
- Have thorough knowledge of menus and specials
- Service guests in a warm, friendly, courteous, and professional manner
- Clear, clean, and reset tables
- Be familiar with operation of P.O.S. system
- Carry out cashiering functions including closing checks and end of shift paperwork
- Perform opening and closing procedures and side work duties
- Ensure tables and side stands are stocked, tidy, and clean
- Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager
