The Bar Porter position at Feather Falls Casino is integral to maintaining the cleanliness and operational excellence of the Food and Beverage outlets, especially the bar areas. This full-time position includes a graveyard shift with a starting wage of $17.00 per hour. Bar Porters play a vital role in supporting bartenders and other Food and Beverage staff by ensuring all bar stations are immaculately clean and organized. This includes heavy-duty cleaning tasks such as wiping countertops, cleaning refrigerators and glassware, maintaining floors and drains, and managing waste disposal. Beyond the physical duties, the role requires vigilance in security activities related to casino operations, including adherence to the Bank Secrecy Act and internal compliance policies. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • one year experience in a related field
  • ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • ability to communicate effectively with vendors, customers, and other employees
  • ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
  • ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
  • ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
  • ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
  • ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions while providing optimum guest service
  • possession of a Class B Gaming License
  • willingness to work night shifts and weekends
  • ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • maintain a professional appearance
  • comply with Bank Secrecy Act and internal compliance policies

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Keep all countertops and cupboards wiped clean at all times
  • keep floors mopped and cleaned around stations
  • mop floor in beer cooler
  • keep all floor drains cleaned out daily
  • change garbage bags in all stations
  • dump garbage and empty boxes often
  • empty and clean all reach-in refrigerators behind bar
  • clean glassware daily
  • clean bar foot rails
  • keep walls and surrounding area clean around coffee/soda dispensers located throughout the casino
  • clean glass windows and doors
  • clean all Pepsi machines in stations
  • be willing to work nights and weekends
  • maintain a professional appearance at all times
  • record and report any suspicious activity as defined by the Bank Secrecy Act (Title 31) and Feather Falls Casino Internal control policy Suspicious Activity Compliance Program
  • perform any other duties as assigned by the Lounge Manager and/or Food & Beverage Director
