Job Description

AC Hotel Denver RiNo, located at 3680 Brighton Blvd in Denver, Colorado, is a modern and vibrant hotel that offers guests an exceptional hospitality experience. This establishment is part of the AC Hotels brand, known for its contemporary design, commitment to comfort, and dedication to excellent service. Owned and operated by Lotus Hotels, an independent franchisee, this hotel embraces a unique identity apart from Marriott International, allowing it to focus on distinctive hospitality offerings tailored to the Denver community and its visitors. The hotel features upscale amenities, beautifully designed spaces, and a mix of cultural and social experiences that reflect the energetic spirit of the RiNo district in Denver. With a prime location, guests have easy access to local attractions, dining, art, and entertainment, making it a popular destination for both business and leisure travelers.

The role being offered is for a Mixologist, a key position within the hotel’s Food and Beverage department. This full-time, non-management role focuses on delivering an outstanding bar experience to hotel guests by preparing and serving a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to the highest standards. The Mixologist is tasked with creating a warm and welcoming environment by engaging with guests, taking orders, and providing knowledgeable recommendations. Maintaining cleanliness and organization behind the bar is critical, as is managing inventory and ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation guidelines. This position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, a thorough understanding of mixology, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality setting. Employees in this position are expected to uphold legal and hotel policies related to alcohol service, ensuring guest safety and satisfaction at all times.

In addition to beverage preparation, the Mixologist will handle cash and credit transactions, monitor alcohol consumption, and assist with general bar maintenance and setup. The position offers competitive wages at $16.50 per hour plus tips, without a tip pool, providing an attractive earning potential. The role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to further develop their hospitality career within a reputable brand known for growth and excellence. AC Hotel Denver RiNo prides itself on supporting its team through comprehensive benefits, including Marriott travel perks, a supportive work environment, and equal opportunity employment practices. This ensures all employees, regardless of background, have a fair chance to succeed and advance in their careers within the hotel industry.
