Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality industry
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations
- Valid bartending license or certification (for bartender position)

Job Duties
- Assist in hiring for a restaurant's bar and waitstaff
- Assist in the scheduling and training sessions of servers, bartenders, hosts, and bussers
- Supervise upkeep of guest areas by directing staff to attend to messes or accidents
- Assist in shift planning to ensure each shift is properly staffed
- Balance cash receipts
- Keep a well-stocked bar with an adequate supply of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, napkins, straws, glassware, and other accessories
- Clean the bar, tables, chairs, and work area to maintain a sanitary environment
- Organize the bar area to streamline drink preparation and inventory
- Place orders for liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies
- Slice, pit, and prepare fruit garnishes for drinks
- Plan bar menus
- Create unique drinks
- Prepare and serve appetizers, snacks, or other food items for customers at the bar
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Limit customer problems by restricting alcohol intake and curtail inappropriate behavior
- Check identification to verify legal age requirements for all customers
- Satisfy patron requests in a timely manner
- Assess customer preferences and make drink recommendations
- Collect money for drinks served and provide change as needed
