Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • proven experience in bar management or similar role
  • proficiency with POS systems
  • strong leadership and organizational skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to resolve conflicts effectively
  • capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency with restaurant POS system including refunding customers, providing discounts, and comping items

Job Duties

  • Interview and hire bar staff
  • develop a specialized hiring process to meet the restaurant's needs
  • manage the training of bartenders
  • supervise upkeep of guest areas by directing staff to attend to any accidents and personally assist in cleanup
  • responsible for shift planning using the scheduling systems to assign waitstaff based on anticipated demand
  • direct staff to handle unexpected situations and customer concerns throughout a shift as needed
