Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in bar or restaurant management preferred
- dedicated ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- capability to maintain physical demands including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs
- positive, friendly, and professional attitude
- willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback
- ability to lead and mentor team members effectively
Job Qualifications
- Bar management experience preferred
- understanding of FOH operations and management
- ability to work nights and weekends
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- strong attention to detail
- able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- must have a courteous, energetic, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests and coworkers
- coachable with ability to apply feedback
Job Duties
- Exceptional knowledge of our Craveably Crafted™ food and Uncommon Hospitality
- maintain CHEERS in all FOH departments
- build sales through managing the guest experience
- maintain bar cleanliness and quality through daily line checks
- drive opening, closing, and checkout duties are completed efficiently
- utilize shift cards and restaurant tools to stay organized and on track
- visit every table, learn guests' names, promote new items/beers, and stay aware of guests needs
- monitor and track daily beer waste, quality and control costs
- control and maintain labor costs utilizing HotSchedules to schedule and communicate with team
- coach, teach and mentor FOH team throughout the shift as the Leader in the Window
- participate in the selection of new hires and implement training and testing procedures
- uphold company standards on personal appearance and attire
- drive ticket times and communication throughout the team
- support the team and the shift by setting up and transitioning shifts appropriately
