Job Description

TGI Fridays is a well-established and iconic restaurant chain known for its vibrant atmosphere, classic American cuisine, and signature cocktails. With locations worldwide, TGI Fridays prides itself on delivering an exceptional dining and bar experience that combines great food, innovative drinks, and a welcoming environment for guests of all backgrounds. The Orlando branch at 10811 International Dr is a bustling venue offering a lively corner bar setting designed to deliver memorable social experiences with quality service and entertainment. As a part of this global brand, the Orlando TGI Fridays restaurant focuses on maintaining high standards in beverage quality, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence to uphold the brand's reputation.

The Bar Manager role at TGI Fridays Orlando is vital in shaping the bar operations and creating the best corner bar in town. This position requires someone who can effectively supervise all aspects of the bar, including managing a highly skilled team of bartenders to ensure swift and accurate service of mixed beverages. The manager’s responsibilities include controlling beverage costs, production, labor management, and maintaining the quality of every drink served. A key focus of this role is elevating the guest experience through responsible alcohol service and engaging promotional initiatives to attract and retain loyal customers through local marketing campaigns.

By fostering a positive team morale and setting exemplary business conduct, the manager cultivates a motivated and professional work environment. Daily operational responsibilities range from staff scheduling, guest interactions, ensuring cleanliness and organization behind the bar, to proactively managing inventory and maintenance of bar equipment. In the absence of the General Manager, the Bar Manager also steps up as the acting Manager on Duty, overseeing overall restaurant operations and security.

Success in this position is measured by meeting or exceeding key performance indicators such as guest satisfaction scores, sales targets, beverage cost control, labor budgets, and compliance with food and safety audits. The role requires a proactive and solution-oriented mindset to identify operational improvements, handle guest and vendor relations, and make critical decisions that influence hiring, sales strategies, and front-of-house quality. This position offers an annual salary up to $60,000 and is perfect for a candidate with a passion for hospitality, mixology, and leadership in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
