This premier estate is nestled among renowned vineyards, Michelin-starred restaurants, and breathtaking views, offering guests a unique and authentic Wine Country experience. The property features two distinct hotels: Hotel Villagio, which exudes a vibrant and lively atmosphere, and Vintage House, known for its chic, tranquil, and sophisticated ambiance. Together, these hotels offer nearly 200 rooms and suites designed to provide exceptional comfort and luxury, making Estate Yountville an ideal setting for any occasion, whether a serene retreat or an exciting getaway. Known for blending modern amenities with classic hospitality, Estate Yountville prides itself on delivering exceptional service that reflects the beauty and culture of Napa Valley. Their commitment to excellence extends to their food and beverage offerings, which are designed to complement the lavish surroundings and enhance the guest experience through refined culinary craftsmanship and innovative beverage programs.
The Bar Manager role at Estate Yountville plays a vital part in maintaining the high standards of hospitality that guests expect in this luxury setting. This position oversees the daily operations of food and beverage services across multiple outlets including the lobby bars, poolside service, and In-Room Dining (IRD). The Bar Manager ensures that all services meet Forbes Travel Guide standards by fostering a culture of excellence among team members, implementing best practices, and continuously improving operations. Leading a skilled team, the Bar Manager is responsible for training, mentoring, and supervising staff to deliver superior guest experiences that emphasize quality, creativity, and attention to detail. This leadership role requires a keen eye for operational excellence—overseeing ordering, inventory management, scheduling, and financial performance to optimize efficiency and profitability while maintaining the estate's signature luxury standards.
In addition to operational duties, the Bar Manager collaborates closely with culinary and beverage teams to design menus that highlight Napa Valley's unique influences in wine and gastronomy. They play a pivotal role in crafting beverage innovations, guiding mixology programs, and providing food and wine pairings that enhance guests' enjoyment. The position also involves conducting service audits, implementing continuous training focused on wine knowledge and mixology, and ensuring that compliance with food safety, sanitation, and alcohol regulations is rigorously maintained.
Candidates for this role should be experienced leaders with a background in luxury food and beverage service operations, strong financial acumen, and excellent communication skills. Beyond managing day-to-day functions, the Bar Manager addresses guest concerns proactively, contributes to special event planning, and ensures a consistently clean and safe environment across all outlets. This demanding yet rewarding role requires flexibility, physical stamina, and the ability to thrive in both dynamic indoor and outdoor settings. Estate Yountville offers an attractive annual salary range of $75,000 to $80,000 along with a comprehensive benefits package. Joining Estate Yountville means becoming part of a prestigious and dynamic team dedicated to providing an unparalleled Wine Country hospitality experience.
