The Bar Manager role is critical to our continued success and growth. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing all bar operations, ensuring every aspect runs smoothly and efficiently while upholding the highest standards of beverage quality and guest satisfaction. This dynamic position requires expertise in managing staff, controlling beverage costs, optimizing profits through marketing initiatives, and delivering an exceptional service experience. You will develop and lead a team of bartenders, providing ongoing coaching, creating effective schedules, and fostering a positive work environment that motivates employees to perform at their best.
Additionally, the Bar Manager will implement local marketing campaigns to drive guest traffic and boost sales, leveraging knowledge of competitors and market trends to maintain a competitive edge. Your leadership will ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintain proper inventory and equipment standards, and uphold security measures that protect our staff, guests, and assets. Acting as the Manager on Duty in the absence of General Management, you will oversee all front of house operations, creating an unforgettable Fridays Service Style experience for our guests.
The successful candidate will bring at least six months of restaurant management experience and a minimum of two years of bar experience with deep knowledge of bar operations. Strong skills in purchasing, production, and team development are essential. Physical requirements include the ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours during shifts, frequent bending and stooping, and the capability to lift up to 30 pounds, including beer kegs. Fluency in English with excellent communication skills to manage staff and interact with guests and vendors in a noisy environment is also required.

Job Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months of restaurant management experience
- Minimum of 2 years of bar experience
- Must be able to walk and stand during entire shift up to 10 hours

Job Qualifications
- College coursework with Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Minimum of 6 months of restaurant management experience
- Minimum of 2 years of bar experience with extensive knowledge of bar operations
- Prior experience in purchasing and production
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Knowledge of bar equipment operations and maintenance
