Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 4 years experience in food and beverage or related area
- Or 2-year degree from an accredited institution in relevant field with at least 2 years related experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including peak meal periods
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Compliance with local, state and federal liquor laws
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve issues quickly
- Capability to mentor and develop team members
- Professional demeanor and integrity
- Computer literacy including financial and inventory management systems
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Four years experience in food and beverage, culinary or related professional area
- Or two-year degree from accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
- Two years experience in food and beverage or related area
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Leadership and team management experience
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Understanding of liquor laws and hospitality regulations
- Ability to handle guest complaints effectively
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to develop and deliver training programs
- Financial management skills
Job Duties
- Supervises and manages employees
- Manages all day-to-day operations
- Maintains service and sanitation standards in restaurant, bar/lounge and room service areas
- Reviews staffing levels to ensure guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met
- Utilizes interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others
- Advocates sound financial/business decision making
- Demonstrates honesty/integrity
- Leads by example
- Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members
- Serves as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviors
- Identifies developmental needs of others and coaches, mentors, or helps improve skills

- Manages service delivery from entry to departure
- Provides guidance and direction to subordinates including performance standards monitoring
- Develops educational and training programs
- Ensures fair and equitable treatment and strives to improve employee retention
- Solicits employee feedback and reviews satisfaction to address problems
- Ensures recognition takes place across areas of responsibility
- Assists servers and hosts during peak periods
- Oversees financial aspects including purchasing and invoice payments
