Job Description

The role of the Bar Manager is critical to the success of our establishment. This position entails overseeing all daily operations of the bar, including managing staff members, maintaining inventory levels, controlling operational costs, and ensuring full compliance with all alcohol regulations. The Bar Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, monitoring guest satisfaction, and innovating strategies to enhance the overall dining experience. A key part of this role involves building lasting relationships with guests and acting as an effective problem solver to quickly address any issues that arise. The individual in this position will also play a strategic role in driving revenue growth by managing food and beverage costs, analyzing sales data, and optimizing labor schedules.

Additional duties include supervising the bar’s cleanliness and compliance with health standards, training staff on product knowledge and service policies, and maintaining strong vendor relationships to secure timely and cost-effective supply deliveries. The Bar Manager is expected to foster a positive and productive work environment through motivation, coaching, and mentorship of team members. They are also responsible for ensuring safety and sanitary regulations are strictly followed, including adherence to ServSafe Alcohol, Food, OSHA, and HACCP standards. This role includes direct support to General Managers in financial processes such as cash handling and bank deposit logging. Overall, the Bar Manager is essential to upholding the company’s brand image and culture of excellence, managing shift operations, and maintaining high standards of food and beverage quality. Job Requirements
