Applebee's is currently seeking dedicated candidates for management roles within their restaurants, especially for Kitchen Manager positions. This role is pivotal in maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and service while fostering a positive and engaging work environment. The position reports directly to the General Manager and plays a crucial role in day-to-day kitchen operations, team leadership, training, and compliance with state regulations concerning alcohol and food service. Job Requirements

  • 2-3 years of management experience in the restaurant, entertainment or hospitality industry
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Responsible alcohol service and food safety certifications as required
  • Kitchen Managers must have current alcohol and food certification that meets state requirements
  • Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 12 hours
  • Ability to lift 25-50 pounds
  • Position reports to General Manager

Job Qualifications

  • Monitor inventory and maintain supplies
  • Oversee food preparation quality and presentation
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to meet restaurant goals
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
