We are currently seeking an energetic and dedicated Bar Manager to lead our bar operations with enthusiasm and professionalism. The Bar Manager will oversee the entire gamut of bar activities including staff management, inventory control, customer service standards, and regulatory compliance. The role is full-time with contract and temporary employment options available, offering a salary range of $50,000 to $65,000 per year. Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in bar management or restaurant management roles with supervising experience in busy service environments
  • Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS along with cash handling expertise
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training team management interviewing and development initiatives
  • Familiarity with inventory control budgeting and alcohol management processes essential for effective lounge operation
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally while maintaining a lively atmosphere
  • Previous experience working in high paced bars and restaurants is highly desirable
  • Ability to manage shift schedules efficiently while ensuring compliance with health regulations and safety standards

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Supervise all bar operations including food and beverage preparation serving and customer interactions to ensure a high-quality experience
  • Manage staff scheduling training and development to build a motivated and efficient team capable of delivering outstanding service
  • Oversee inventory control ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels using POS systems to optimize efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards sanitation regulations and alcohol licensing laws to promote a safe environment for staff and guests
  • Handle cash transactions accurately including cash handling procedures and balancing registers at shift end
  • Lead shift management by coordinating team efforts during busy hours resolving customer concerns promptly and maintaining a lively yet safe and professional atmosphere
