The company prides itself on delivering memorable guest experiences and promoting a culture of integrity, teamwork, and excellence across all its locations. This commitment to a dynamic and enjoyable atmosphere has positioned AIKG as an exciting and innovative employer within the entertainment sector.
The Operations Manager at Andretti Indoor Karting & Games holds a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily operational functions of the facility. This full-time, mid-senior level position demands an experienced professional capable of managing diverse departments such as Arcade, Food & Beverage (F&B), Kitchen, Special Events, Track, and overall Facility management. The role involves direct responsibility for staffing, scheduling, training, cost control, operational policies, guest relations, sanitation, environment control, cash handling, safety, and security. The Operations Manager is entrusted with cultivating a productive environment that encourages ownership, accountability, and motivation among team members. Key responsibilities include ensuring service standards are maintained at the highest level, maximizing sales, managing labor costs within budget, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and supporting special events scheduling alongside the Sales Department. The position emphasizes leadership with integrity and purpose, empowering staff to deliver legendary guest service every day. ADKG promotes a company motto of "Striving for Perfection; Achieving Excellence," which embodies the core values this leader must champion while driving operational success and employee development throughout the facility.
AIKG offers a competitive compensation package, including top management salaries and exciting performance bonus opportunities. The company supports its workforce with comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage, a generous health savings account funded with $1200 by the company, vacation and sick time accruing during the first year, and a 401k retirement program with a generous company match. Additional benefits include life insurance, short and long-term disability coverage, accident and critical illness insurance, and voluntary life insurance plans. Working with AIKG means joining a motivated team of professionals dedicated to excellence and innovation in family entertainment.
This role requires a candidate who is at least 18 years old, eligible to work in the United States, and who possesses strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. The position calls for someone upbeat, sociable, and willing to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Preferred qualifications include previous restaurant or family entertainment center management experience, proven leadership abilities, expertise in staff training and development, and knowledge of cost controls. Due to the physical nature of the job, the Operations Manager must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods, lifting weights up to 50 lbs, and operating necessary equipment safely in an environment with potentially bright or flashing lights and loud sounds. Overall, this is an outstanding opportunity for a management professional passionate about creating exceptional entertainment experiences and leading motivated teams in a fast-paced, high-energy atmosphere.
