The Bar Manager role is a critical position responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the bar area within the restaurant. This position requires managing staff performance, maintaining bar inventory, and ensuring compliance with all alcohol laws and safety regulations. The Bar Manager is instrumental in driving revenue growth by delivering high-quality beverages and exceptional customer service. They are tasked with maintaining a clean and safe environment, training and mentoring bar staff, and managing costs effectively to reduce waste while maximizing profitability. This position involves close interaction with guests to ensure satisfaction, quick resolution of complaints, and continuous efforts to enhance the overall guest experience.
The Bar Manager is also responsible for controlling operational expenses, monitoring product quality, researching suppliers, and maintaining solid vendor relationships to ensure timely and cost-efficient deliveries. They collaborate with the General Manager in managing cash handling processes, including deposits and financial record-keeping, and oversee the daily opening and closing of the bar and restaurant. Managing schedules and shifts for bar staff is another core responsibility, requiring strong organizational and leadership capabilities. Compliance with company policies, sanitation rules, and safety standards such as ServSafe Alcohol, OSHA, and HACCP is mandatory.

Job Duties
