This position is designed for individuals with prior management experience in the restaurant, entertainment, or hospitality industries who are prepared to take on responsibility for ensuring smooth daily operations, enforcing health and safety standards, and supporting a cohesive guest experience. The position reports directly to the General Manager and requires dedicated leadership, multitasking abilities, and commitment to maintaining Applebee's high standards for customer service and food quality. This is a role that demands stamina, as it requires standing and moving for extended periods and occasionally lifting moderately heavy items. Job Requirements
- 2-3 years of management experience in the restaurant, entertainment or hospitality industry
- high school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- responsible alcohol service and food safety certifications as required
- kitchen managers must have current alcohol and food certification that meets state requirements
- ability to stand and move for up to 12 hours
- ability to lift 25-50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- 2-3 years of management experience in the restaurant, entertainment or hospitality industry
- high school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- responsible alcohol service certification
- food safety certification
- current alcohol and food certifications for kitchen managers as per state requirements
