The Bar Manager position is integral to the restaurant's success and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bar’s daily operations. The manager will also assist general managers in overseeing cash handling procedures, including daily sales reports and banking deposits. The Bar Manager’s responsibility extends to scheduling, shift management, and maintaining the restaurant’s good image while suggesting improvements. The goal is to maintain customer satisfaction by promptly addressing complaints and continuously enhancing the guest experience.

The Bar Manager must possess a thorough understanding of budgets and sales analysis to effectively control costs related to food waste and labor. This role requires multitasking in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, maintaining calm and tactful communication even during challenging situations. The Bar Manager will be an ambassador for the brand, ensuring the team adheres to company policies, procedures, and the uniform appearance standards. Physical demands include standing or walking continuously, communicating with line staff, reaching, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Prior front of house and back of house manager experience
  • 3 plus years of restaurant experience
  • Supervisory experience
