The role of Bar Manager is critical within this establishment, encompassing a broad range of responsibilities aimed at overseeing all aspects of the bar's day-to-day operations. This full-time managerial position involves leading and managing bar staff, maintaining and tracking inventory, and ensuring that all beverages served meet consistent high-quality standards. The Bar Manager plays a key role in fostering a welcoming environment that maximizes customer satisfaction and loyalty. By regularly engaging with customers and addressing complaints efficiently and accurately, the Bar Manager ensures that every guest leaves with a positive experience. Supervising and training the bar team is an essential function, which includes enhancing their knowledge about products and company policies, motivating employees, and fostering a positive work environment through guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.

In addition to staff and guest management, the Bar Manager is responsible for operational oversight, including controlling costs, minimizing waste, and driving revenue growth. They assist General Managers with financial responsibilities such as cash handling, deposits, and sales data analysis. Maintaining a positive brand image and promoting a culture of excellence among team members are also key facets of this role. The manager ensures compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, overseeing the cleanliness of the bar and reporting any facility issues promptly. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Prior Front of House and Back of House Manager experience
  • 3 plus years of restaurant experience
  • Supervisory experience
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication
  • Follows direction with focused attention
  • Ability to positively motivate employees to work as a team
  • Maintains a calm, tactful demeanor when dealing with difficult situations
  • Adhere to company uniform attire and appearance standards
  • Completes all ongoing certifications/validations
  • Must possess proper food handler and alcohol dispensing certifications
  • Can intelligently talk about beer, wine, and spirits
  • Aptitude for driving sales through cultivation of new guests and retention of current guests
