Job Duties
- Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
- follow bar pre-shift notes and menus and provide service as described
- serve alcoholic beverages following proper procedures including state and federal alcohol regulations
- learn or have knowledge of various beer wine varieties and spirits and suggestively upsell products to guests
- pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company serving size standards
- check guest IDs according to state and federal regulations to verify age requirements
- communicate cut-off to guests as required
- listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
- de-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if necessary
- contact management if unable to resolve issues beyond standard decision-making
- request additional or restock products as needed
- handle cash accurately and manage issued bank at bar
- maintain a clean and sanitary work station and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
- perform additional duties such as set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist with cooler organization
