Job Duties

  • Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • follow bar pre-shift notes and menus and provide service as described
  • serve alcoholic beverages following proper procedures including state and federal alcohol regulations
  • learn or have knowledge of various beer wine varieties and spirits and suggestively upsell products to guests
  • pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company serving size standards
  • check guest IDs according to state and federal regulations to verify age requirements
  • communicate cut-off to guests as required
  • listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • de-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if necessary
  • contact management if unable to resolve issues beyond standard decision-making
  • request additional or restock products as needed
  • handle cash accurately and manage issued bank at bar
  • maintain a clean and sanitary work station and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
  • perform additional duties such as set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist with cooler organization
