Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
minimum six months bartending or beverage service experience
ability to handle cash transactions accurately
knowledge of state and federal alcohol service laws
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
ability to work in a fast-paced environment
ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
must be personable and professional

Job Qualifications

Six months or more bartending experience
accurate cash handling skills
ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
ability to work self-directed in a team environment
excellent interpersonal and communication skills
ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and long hours
bartending license not required to start

Job Duties

Meet the company standards for guest service, interaction with coworkers, and uniform standards
follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus to provide service
serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures and state/federal regulations
learn and suggestively upsell various beer, wine, and spirits
pour drinks responsibly according to company standards
check guest's ID to verify minimum age requirements
communicate service cut-offs to guests as needed
respond to customer requests or concerns
de-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if necessary
request additional product or restock as required
handle cash accurately and maintain issued bar bank
maintain clean and sanitary work station and bar equipment
assist with set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and cooler organization
perform other duties as assigned
