Job Requirements
- Previous experience in food and beverage service
- TABC certification or ability to obtain
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to handle multiple orders efficiently
- Must follow safety and sanitation regulations
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food and beverage setting is required, with bartending experience highly preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, preparation techniques, appropriate glassware, and bar equipment, including knowledge of legal regulations for alcohol service (TABC certification or ability to obtain is required)
- Strong guest service skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences
- Basic proficiency with computer systems for order processing and inventory tracking
- Physical ability to stand, stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift
- Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Duties
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and specialty drinks according to recipes and guest preferences
- Create and recommend unique cocktails tailored to guest tastes
- Ensure all drinks meet the highest quality presentation standards
- Greet and engage guests with a friendly, welcoming attitude, and providing personalized service
- Take drink orders from guests and servers, answering inquiries about menu options
- Handle guest complaints or special requests professionally to ensure satisfaction
- Set up the bar at the beginning of each shift, ensuring that all equipment, garnishes, and supplies are ready for service
