Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food and beverage service
  • Ability to obtain or hold TIPS certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical stamina to stand and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of state and local alcohol service laws

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a food and beverage setting is required with bartending experience highly preferred
  • Comprehensive understanding of alcoholic beverages cocktail recipes preparation techniques appropriate glassware and bar equipment including knowledge of legal regulations for alcohol service TIPS certification or ability to obtain is required
  • Strong guest service skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences
  • Basic proficiency with computer systems for order processing and inventory tracking
  • Physical ability to stand stoop bend and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift
  • Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including cocktails wine beer and specialty drinks according to recipes and guest preferences
  • Create and recommend unique cocktails tailored to guest tastes
  • Ensure all drinks meet the highest quality presentation standards
  • Greet and engage guests with a friendly welcoming attitude and providing personalized service
  • Take drink orders from guests and servers answering inquiries about menu options
  • Handle guest complaints or special requests professionally to ensure satisfaction
  • Set up the bar at the beginning of each shift ensuring that all equipment garnishes and supplies are ready for service
