Job Requirements
- Previous experience in a food and beverage setting is required
- Bartending experience is highly preferred
- TIPS certification or ability to obtain is required
- Strong guest service skills are necessary
- Ability to handle multiple drink orders efficiently
- Physical stamina to stand stoop bend and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food and beverage setting is required with bartending experience highly preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of alcoholic beverages cocktail recipes preparation techniques appropriate glassware and bar equipment including knowledge of legal regulations for alcohol service TIPS certification or ability to obtain is required
- Strong guest service skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences
- Basic proficiency with computer systems for order processing and inventory tracking
- Physical ability to stand stoop bend and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift
- Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Duties
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including cocktails wine beer and specialty drinks according to recipes and guest preferences
- Create and recommend unique cocktails tailored to guest tastes
- Ensure all drinks meet the highest quality presentation standards
- Greet and engage guests with a friendly welcoming attitude and providing personalized service
- Take drink orders from guests and servers answering inquiries about menu options
- Handle guest complaints or special requests professionally to ensure satisfaction
- Set up the bar at the beginning of each shift ensuring that all equipment garnishes and supplies are ready for service
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area including cleaning glassware surfaces and waste disposal
- Monitor and report inventory levels for beverages garnishes and supplies to avoid shortages
- Follow all safety sanitation and alcohol service regulations including verifying guest identification
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and enforce responsible service practices
- Adhere to all state and local laws regarding the sale and service of alcoholic beverages
- Collaborate with servers barbacks and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely service
- Assist with restocking supplies and supporting barback duties during busy periods
- Foster a positive team environment while delivering exceptional service
- Other duties as assigned
