Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Event Staff to fill the roles of Barback and Ice Runner for an upcoming event occurring on Saturday, June 12, and Sunday, June 13. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy supporting dynamic team settings. The position will be on-site starting at 11:00 AM Central Time on both event days, offering a pay rate of $10.00 per hour plus tips, providing not only monetary compensation but also potential to earn additional income through gratuities.

Our client is a well-established event organizer that manages high-profile festivals and gatherings. This position involves critical support functions that contribute to the smooth operation and success of the event's beverage services. The Barback and Ice Runner roles are vital to ensuring bartenders can serve guests efficiently and without interruption. Key to this job is the ability to restock supplies such as beer, liquor, mixers, ice, and garnishes, helping maintain a clean and organized bar area throughout the event duration. These tasks require physical stamina and the capacity to handle heavy lifting, making it suitable for candidates in good physical condition.

Working as an Event Staff member entails more than physical tasks; it requires excellent communication and teamwork abilities to coordinate effectively with bartenders and other hospitality personnel. While prior experience in event settings, hospitality, or bars is preferred, we also welcome motivated candidates eager to learn on the job. This employment opportunity is for those who pride themselves on reliability and a proactive attitude, ready to contribute to creating a positive and enjoyable experience for event attendees.

This role demands availability for both days mentioned and adherence to scheduled shifts. It offers a unique chance for individuals who enjoy engaging in social, energetic environments and working behind the scenes to ensure customer satisfaction. If you are 21 years of age or older, capable of managing physical tasks, and interested in gaining experience in the hospitality and event industry, this position is a perfect fit. Join us and play a key part in making this event memorable and successful for all involved.
