Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age
- work days, nights and weekends as required
- ability to work in hot and cold environments
- able to handle noisy, fast-paced surroundings
- read and write handwritten notes
- lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- move about facility and stand for long periods
- frequently reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe
- comply with safety and sanitation policies
- willing to perform opening and closing bar duties
- participate in all company initiatives and contests
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in barback or similar role preferred
- knowledge of bar equipment and drink preparation helpful
- ability to work in fast-paced environment
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- familiarity with alcohol service laws and procedures beneficial
- physical stamina to stand, lift and move for extended periods
Job Duties
- deliver unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks and games
- keep supervisor informed of all significant issues
- create warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
- follow alcohol awareness procedures to prevent intoxication
- follow portion guidelines to control costs
- check back with guests to ensure satisfaction
- maintain cleanliness and stocked bar areas
- empty trash and spot sweep floors as needed
- restock supplies for shift changes and close
- perform opening and closing responsibilities including party setup and breakdown
- assist in bar inventories and cleanliness of bar storage
- participate in sales incentives and contests
- assist other team members as needed
- maintain cooperative working relationships
