Aramark operates across a variety of sectors including education, healthcare, business dining, stadiums, and leisure, delivering high-quality services tailored to client needs and expectations.

The Barback position at Aramark plays a critical support role within the bar team, helping to ensure efficient and smooth bar operations to deliver exceptional guest experiences. The Barback is responsible for transporting, stocking, and maintaining inventory of bar products, cleaning and clearing the bar area, and assisting bartenders and other staff members throughout their shifts. This role requires attention to detail, a proactive approach to inventory management, and the ability to keep the bar stocked with all necessary supplies such as garnishes, straws, napkins, ice, liquor, wine, and beer. Barbacks assist with both opening and closing duties, including restocking the bar and ensuring that all equipment and workstations are clean, sanitized, and well-maintained. Responsibilities also include monitoring taps and appliances to ensure proper functionality, changing kegs as needed, and ensuring overall bar cleanliness by wiping down surfaces, sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash receptacles.

In addition to operational tasks, the Barback position demands a strong commitment to guest service with a positive and professional demeanor toward customers, colleagues, and clients. Adherence to Aramark's safety policies, including proper food safety and sanitation practices, is essential to maintain a safe and compliant working environment. The role may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended standing or walking. Flexibility in working hours is often required, including availability during evenings and weekends to meet the needs of the business. By supporting the bartenders and ensuring the bar area remains orderly and well-stocked, the Barback contributes significantly to the overall success and reputation of Aramark's hospitality services.
