The Barback position at Craft Culinary Concepts plays a crucial role in the seamless operation of event bars. As a Barback, you act as the backbone of bar service, ensuring all needs are met to support bartenders and enhance the guest experience. This full-time role involves the physical tasks of stocking, backing, and cleaning bars to maintain high standards of organization and efficiency during events. Barbacks are responsible for setting up bars before events by delivering necessary products, ice, and supplies, replenishing these items throughout events as needed, and assisting in the thorough breakdown and cleanup after events conclude. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- must have prior bar experience
- must have a valid TEAM or TIP certification card
- must have a valid County Food Handler Card on file with Craft Culinary Concepts and in possession for each event
- must maintain discretion and confidentiality about guests
- must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- must complete all pre-employment forms
- must successfully pass a background check
- must pass a math assessment involving all US monetary units
- must be able to work both independently and with a team
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- able to stand for several hours
- ability to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- able to work in extreme temperature fluctuations and high noise environments
