The Barback position at Aramark plays a vital role in supporting the efficient operation of bar services by maintaining inventory, stocking items, and assisting staff members, particularly bartenders. This role is essential in ensuring that the bar remains well-stocked and clean, contributing to an excellent guest experience. Key responsibilities include performing opening and closing duties, such as restocking garnishes, straws, and napkins, delivering products, maintaining inventory accuracy through transfer sheets, and assisting with the reordering process. The Barback also cleans and sanitizes workstations, checks taps and equipment functionality, replaces kegs, and maintains the overall appearance of the bar area.

This role demands a proactive team player who can work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills. Physical endurance is important as the position requires long periods of standing and walking, along with lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling. Safety protocols and food sanitation policies must be strictly followed to ensure compliance and a secure environment for both employees and guests.
