Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have and maintain a valid Washington State Food Handlers Permit and a Washington State Class 12 MAST Permit
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
  • Ability to lift and move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to react with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations
  • Willingness to follow responsible alcohol service policies
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and sanitation

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hospitality or food service preferred
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices
  • Ability to follow company policies and procedures
  • Valid Washington State Food Handlers Permit and Washington State Class 12 MAST Permit

Job Duties

  • Perform important guest service functions including empty plates and glassware, wiping down bar and setting up for dining at bar
  • Thoroughly complete all station set-up and breakdown responsibilities
  • Complete steps of service to ensure utmost guest satisfaction
  • Run product from the pantry/kitchen to the bar for use during the event
  • Understand and describe menu offerings, packaging/presentation, and pricing
  • Respond to guest needs and requests
  • Adhere to location appearance guidelines
  • Act with a sense of urgency and provide friendly, efficient service to teammates and guests
  • Maintain service areas
  • Adhere to Levy guidelines as stated in team member training manual and employee handbook
  • Communicate guest issues to management
  • Follow responsible alcohol service policies
  • Follow cash handling and tip reporting guidelines
  • Employ good safety and sanitation practices
  • Practice proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment
  • Stand for long periods of time and actively engage physically with guests
  • Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds
  • Move easily and quickly from sitting to standing position
  • Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods throughout the day
