Job Description
Delaware North Sportservice is a renowned hospitality company operating premier concessions, premium dining, and restaurants at iconic venues such as the Green Bay Packers' Lambeau Field and Titletown in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Established in 2012 at this location, Delaware North has cultivated a reputation for delivering exceptional guest experiences through dedicated service and a commitment to quality. The company operates various venues including Homefield Pub + Social, which features Topgolf Swing Suites, and hosts exciting seasonal events such as sledding and ice skating, making it a vibrant and dynamic environment to work in.
The position of a seasonal part-time Barback at Lambeau Field offers a unique opportunity to join a fast-paced and collaborative team. As a Barback, you play a vital role in supporting the bartenders and ensuring the smooth operation of the beverage services during events. This role goes beyond basic support by requiring active participation in inventory management, beverage delivery, area maintenance, and guest service. The job is perfect for individuals who thrive in energetic settings and are looking for advancement opportunities within the hospitality sector.
This role is seasonal and part-time, catering to those who seek flexible work schedules that can accommodate personal commitments, such as students or individuals seeking supplementary income. The hourly wage is competitive at $15.00, with the opportunity to earn additional income through tips, as this is a tipped position. This means that your total earnings could exceed the base pay, depending on performance and guest interaction.
The Barback position requires physical stamina and the ability to stay active throughout the shift, with duties such as lifting up to 70 pounds, moving heavy carts, and standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods. These physical requirements ensure that the beverage area is well-stocked and clean, and that bartenders have the supplies they need promptly, allowing them to focus on delivering excellent customer service.
In addition to the immediate job responsibilities, Delaware North values the personal and professional growth of its team members. The company offers various training and development opportunities designed to enhance skills and career prospects within the hospitality industry. Employees benefit from weekly pay cycles, employee discounts, and the potential for flexible work hours that can fit various lifestyles and availability.
Eligibility for comprehensive benefits adds further value to working with Delaware North. These include health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plans with company match, paid vacation and holidays, parental bonding leave, employee assistance programs, and tuition reimbursement for professional development. These benefits illustrate Delaware North's commitment to the wellbeing of its workforce, fostering a supportive environment where team members can thrive personally and professionally.
Joining Delaware North means becoming part of a global legacy with over a century of history as a family-owned company. Its diverse operations worldwide provide employees unique pathways for career growth across sports arenas, national parks, casinos, hotels, and retail settings. Whether interested in a short-term seasonal role or long-term career in hospitality, Delaware North invests in helping employees achieve their career ambitions. Working here means you are part of shaping the future of hospitality by providing great experiences in memorable places.
If you are at least 16 years old, enjoy working cooperatively with others, have basic math skills for inventory counting, and can handle physically demanding tasks, this Barback position at Lambeau Field could be the ideal job for you. It offers a chance to be part of a passionate team delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced environment with opportunities to grow and develop valuable skills in hospitality.
