Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year experience in mid to high volume outlet
  • Must be over 21 years old
  • High school diploma required
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Ability to work long hours standing
  • Physical ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and lift
  • Must comply with company and liquor laws
  • Ability to handle fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Willingness to complete sidework and assist team members

Job Duties

  • Maintain pars of supplies at the bar by stocking ice, paper products, cups, glassware, and china
  • Keep bartender informed of items to be ordered to prevent shortages
  • Acknowledge guests if bartender is busy and relay guest orders
  • Respond to requests from bartenders for priorities and assistance
  • Bring bar food from the kitchen to the bar
  • Cut bar fruit daily as needed
  • Check glassware for chips, spots, or residue
  • Assist in clearing the bar and returning used items to dish room
  • Rinse blenders and equipment as used
  • Rotate stock and maintain organization
  • Pour wines with bartender approval
  • Follow all liquor laws
  • Complete sidework before, during, and after shifts
  • Assist other team members as needed
  • Maintain front of house cleanliness standards
  • Interact professionally with guests and team
  • Report unsafe conditions
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of bar equipment
  • Inspect equipment for cleanliness
  • Manage time and productivity according to business volume
  • Report repairs to bar manager
  • Transport glasses, ice, bottles, kegs continuously
  • Work in fast-paced environment
  • Comply with all liquor regulations
  • Complete additional duties as assigned
